What kinds of guns does the GCA prohibit the import of? Is it a form of protectionism for domestic manufacturers?
Unless they were built here under license, or by US based plants owned by foreign companies, is it actually possible to purchase authentic semi-auto versions of guns like G36, FAMAS, AK-74M, and other guns with civilian market versions that can't be imported?
With WASR 10, was it imported from Romania completed, or was an incomplete parts kit imported and put together in the US?
Could the GCA ever be repealed? Or will we be stuck having to cobble together parts kits instead of importing civilian versions of famous weapons from abroad?
